Sometimes my favorite part of a meal, here are some sides and snacks that frequent my kitchen.
Hummus: I love making (and eating) hummus but never have tahini, which this version does not require. To make the hummus creamier, remove the shells from the garbanzo beans. (J)
Baked Kale Chips: Yep, I too have fallen under the spell of kale. These chips are easy to make and even easier to eat. Enjoy! (J)
Ceviche Verde: This is a fun appetizer or dish to bring to a party. Make sure you give yourself plenty time to marinate the fish. (J)
Roasted Beets w/ Feta: I recently rediscovered beets. The tanginess of the Feta cheese is a great contrast to the sweetness of the beets. (J)
Homemade Nakd Bars: Easy to make, easy to eat. This snack should satisfy your sweet tooth and fill your belly. (J)
Bloody Mary Shrimp: This is a great dish to bring to a party, or possibly a hangover cure for Sunday morning? (J)
